1966 VW Classic Convertible Up for sale is our beautiful 1966 VW Convertible in great condition.It has spent the last ten years in an airplane hanger and was gently used occasionally in the summer months.It has all service records from 1966 and a huge folder with the original dealer bill of sale along with the owners manual. included in the original dealer bill of sale the previous owner paid for the pans to get weather coating. This is still present and has preserved the pans well.This is an all matching number beetle and was repainted in the late 90s, and in the early 2000's received new upholstry. The top has also been replaced and i do have the receipt for the replacement .She has spent all of her life parked indoors, never outside, so very little (if any) sun damage. She also comes with a Tonneau cover that can be used with the top down see pics.The pans are solid and only show some surface rust in the battery area. The heater also works well along with four newer tires.The original radio still works it just needs a new antenna installed. Yes, she is still 6 volt, all electrical is in order and functions correctly. Number matching motor runs strong and transmission shifts perfect. This beetle has been maintained well since new The front windshield has a crack on the passenger side and the rear bumper has a slight dent in the middle. There is also a small dent under the front apron , however it is purely cosmetic and not structural. The passenger rear window needs a hinge replaced but is still operational, a part that can still be purchased online. This car is also for sale locally, i reserve the right to close the auction early as long as my reserve has not been met.
