The reserve is set low to sell this car! Here's my t bird. 1966 428 Landau. I am the 3rd owner. My grandsons want to finish our other project and with that said I'm letting her go. This is a great running and driving car. It comes with nice correct period carburetor, {not installed}, 2 sets of keys, almost new tires, They have about 300 miles on them. There is just under 83000 miles showing and looks to be the actual miles. I was told it was and have no reason to doubt it looking at the car. The car has had one repaint quite a while back but it needs a new one to be right. Sequential lights work! It has a few scratches from being stored in my shop. The worst one is right by the drivers door handle and I DID NOT put it there! Shown in one picture. The seats are all good. It has NO air conditioning. No cruise. It does have pb, ps, pseat on the drivers side. The engine and everything from the firewall up has been gone through which makes this one very dependable! It has a new 600 cfm holley carb w/electric choke on it now for no good reason {just testing the difference and couldn't tell any change }. It comes with the realitvily newly reman period correct carb. These are not cheap! You can see from the pics how good the engine bay looks. The transmission shifts as it should with newer filter and fluid. New belts, hoses, and anything that was not up to par has been addressed in the last 3 years. It has been driven on short trips every few months and around the neighborhood every couple weeks to keep her in shape for the last 4 years. The vinyl top is original and is in really good condition. It has the original radio{removed} and an aftermarket is in it and did work but just stopped. It does come on. I have not checked it out. The original radio goes with it. Chrome is good on bumpers with the usual very minor imperfections here and there. They have never been rechromed and are still very presentable. The hubcaps in the first pictures are NOT the ones that are correct for the car and DO NOT go with the car. I have the correct hub caps pictured in the last pictures. There are 4 hubcaps for it that 3 of them look great and 1 has a little rash but from 15 feet its good too! The underside is good but the driver floor has a small streak of rust starting to go through so I got a floor pan for it and the rear inside dropoffs. They go with the car. The outer rear quarters are good. Other items that go with the car are, new NOS chrome hood "V" insert, trunk lock cover, NOS, New front fender turn signals, new trunk seal, exterior door handles w/gaskets, front driver floor pan and the rear inside drop offs. Don;t expect a new car.! The vehicle is being sold AS IS, where is with no warranty, expressed, written or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to decide about value and condition by reading completely and asking questions before bidding! Details of the vehicle have been described to the best of my knowledge. There is NO warranty any known or unknown problems or defects. I reserve the right to end the auction early if the vehicle is no longer available for sale. If you like these thunderbirds you will this one. It has a great look and ride. Car may be picked up. I have clear title in my name. A non refundable $500.00 deposit is required within 48 hrs. and the balance in 10 days of sale ending. I noticed in some of the pics there are shadows on the head liner and seats that make it look not so good but it's not like it looks in the pics. It's better. I paid a few weeks ago to put it in a large local car show so this Saturday morning it is going to the RIMS on the RIVER car show here and be for sale there so I do reserve the right to end the sale early before listing ends. ThanksOn Apr-17-12 at 16:08:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I was cleaning out some things and found 2 NEW thunderbird scripts that go on each side, 2 NEW front fender turn signals, 2 NEW outside door handles, and a NEW trunk gasket that go with the car. I also forgot to mention it has an Acell electronic kit in the distributor.
