Vehicle Detail

1969 f-100 Ford Pickup This is a very nice Ford pickup that is a true suvivor. Truck is a 99.9% rust free solid vehicle.....DID I SAY SOLID. Truck looks good from 10 feet and has newer paint which is Mustang electric green, new clutch, radiator and wheel bearings and has also had heads redone and guides changed to run unleaded gas. Truck drives out well and shifts smoothly (3 on the tree) and brakes stop on a dime. Truck appears to have survived as a farm truck as milage is only 69,960 and truck does have some dings but no major dents. Bed shows a few dents inside but no rust. Truck would be a very easy restore to show or nice crusier and user as she sits. Dependable usable good looking truck !! OK now the good stuff...newer rims and like new tires from 1980's truck (have original hub caps). Good running 302 v8 engine w/no issues I know of (manual choke works perfect) Manual 3 speed on the tree (very nice easy shifting, can shift with 1 finger). Truck gets pretty good gas milage aroung town as it has at my best guess a 4:11 rear end. Truck drives as it probably did in 1969. Manual steering (not hard to steer). All body panels appear to solid and like I mentioned 99.9 rust free and only rust I found was a dime size hole at the front passenger fender bottom (repaired) (weep hole probably was clogged). Underside of truck again SOLID w newer exhaust and muffler. Interior has black leather type seat cover on it but there is tear in drivers seat under cover. Interior is kind of an alvacodo green and has not been restored or painted but still looks good. windows work and are good. Has after market cd player (still have working orignal am radio). gauges all appear to work properly. Arm rest on drivers door is torn but there. Bumpers and trim were painted satin black but can be stripped and rechromed if desired. Drivers door sometimes requires it to be shut a couple of times to latch (probably needs stricker ajusted. Just took truck out for a drive and everything works like it should and a pleasure to drive. I would not be afraid to drive anywhere. All in all this is a very nice truck and very little to restore if desired. Haul stuff and still do the cruise ins. Truck was a N.C. truck from Hendersonville area and I copied title before changing title to my name to show its rustfree southern roots. Truck has low reserve and will be sold as is where is with no warranty, written or implied. May consider trade for Ford 1965-1972 galaxie/fairlane etc or whatever you may have just let me know. Truck is being sold locally and I reserve the right to end action early. VERY NICE 43 YEAR OLD TRUCK THAT SHOULD NOT DISAPPOINT..................PLEASE BID ONLY IF INTRESTED IN BUYING..........GOOD LUCK AND HAVE A GREAT DAY,,,,,, BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 5 FEEDBACKS PLEASE GET APPROVAL FROM ME BEFORE BIDDING AS BIDS ARE A BINDING CONTRCT TO PURCHASE On Dec-14-11 at 01:13:01 PST, seller added the following informatio On Dec-16-11 at 02:14:48 PST, seller added the following information: Other stuff....truck is a very nice old truck but is 43 years old. The person I obtained truck from had heads redone to run unleaded gas and also wheel bearings replaced along with a new radiator and exhaust. I made a copy of title I received to show that it was a North Carolina vehicle from Hendersonville area, good reason it's so rust free. I feel good about the truck as it drives well and I've had no problems but sorry no warranty as it is a 43 year old truck. But I feel there would be no disappointments. ALSO NOTE THAT TRUCK WAS BUILT IN MID YEAR OF 1969 AS WHEN VIN CODE IS CHECKED SHOWS 302 WAS NOT PUT IN TRUCK UNTIL MID YEAR, BEFORE THAT THEY WOULD HAVE HAD A 6 CYLINDER OR 390V8 SO 302V8 ADDED FOR V8 POWER AND BETTER FUEL ECONOMY
