This is a 1965 CORVETTE with a 327/300 hp, 4 speed, posi 3.26 rear and the drive train is numbers matching. This car drives like the day it was new, shifting, steering and stopping is amazing. I have owned many restored muscle cars and this one is the best driver I have ever driven. This is the best driving C2 on the road, so impressed, I have had others drive it to show them and how many of you would let someone drive your 65 vette. The 327 is the original block with the vin and suffix code (see pic) stamped by GM and has been totally rebuilt by “the Vette Shop” using stock and some aftermarket parts. There is 2200 miles on the rebuild and I have the original intake, carb and valve covers. The receipts show that there is a new ram clutch and rebuilt transmission that shifts perfectly. The rear is rebuilt with a new pinion and new u joints in the half shafts and retains its stock 3.36 ratio posi code AM and date code of 3 18 65. New radiator and expansion tank with correct part numbers and everything else is replaced or rebuilt that I can think of!! The interior is absolutely gorgeous black leather and perfect black carpet. The gauges all work and the cluster picture is with the car running and me holding the gas pedal at 2000 rpm. There are no rips in the dash or seats. The am fm radio and power antenna work as well. The exterior (original red color vette) is very nice and shines bright red and has an excellent white top that has no tears or cracks. The top opens and closes easily and fits nice into a perfectly carpeted well. There is some “pimples” in the paint on the cowl and top of the right fender. You can see them in the picture and it was not easy to capture them on camera unless the angle and light are just right…you can barely see them outside unless you are looking for them. The Knock Off wheels are an aftermarket version and are perfect in every way. The tires are like new. Hood and doors open and close perfectly. This car is totally restored just not at the same time. There are a pile of receipts dating back to 1981. There is 10’s of thousands of dollars in repairs, rebuilds, parts, and labor. The receipts come from many popular and reputable CORVETTE shops and the work that was performed was not from the corner garage. This car at this time needs nothing.
