2003 Honda XR70R. I purchased this bike new off the show room floor June 24, 2004. Paid $1,657.00 Great bike, when I first got it, it didn't have the torque to get me up the big hills easily. So I changed the front sprocket. Now I cruise up all hills with ease while still topping out at about 33 mph. I'm 6' 3" and 210 lbs and this bike gets me around great. Yet is quiet enough to ride on the horse trails without spooking the horses. I also put a BBR skid plate on it. It got a lot of use from 2004 to 2010, then I moved away from the trail system. Now I only use it 3 or 4 times a year. Time to get a bigger toy. I Change the oil every season with Honda Gold synthetic oil. Starts every time on the first or second kick, even if it has been sitting for 3 or 4 months. It could use a good cleaning and a tune up wouldn't hurt. I have all of the original paper work and bill of sale from 128 cycles in Beverly, MaIf your looking for a really fun bike to blast through tight single track trails this bike is great for that. Or to go long distance along the pipeline this bike does it all. Excellent for wheelies too. It will be missed.
