Up for auction is a 1975 mercedes 240 td california vehicle.This is a barn find so when we saw the turbo and found out that california put turbo,s on the 4 cylinder diesel,s to pass emissions tests,we knew something was different and come to find out very rare indeed.The turbocharger has rajay stamped on it and the rest of the parts have benz numbers on them.The engine runs and transmission works but the brakes are poor.The car has few rust holes 2 tiny holes down by the lower front fender mouldings.There is surfece rust on the top of the front fenders.mainly from the sun bleaching the paint. The rest of the car is in straight condition metal wise. The interior needs refinishing as well but everything is there to be restored. The trunk is in satisfactory condition as well.
