I try to take exceptional care of my vehicles. This is an XLT which includes all the goodies that come with that package. Dont Let the mileage fool you. All steering components are Ford dealer new.... from the steering box out were replaced at 140K miles. Engine replaced with good low mielage 04 at 160K mile..I'm guessing there is about 70K miles on motor. I had the entire truck worked over at the body shop about 5 years ago...Including new drivers side cab corner and new 3rd door as well. The regular repairs were done by my mechanic or the local dealer. Tires are in good condition with plenty of tread left. I beleive I had replaced all the brake calipers and pads within the last 25k miles. Paint is still pretty good with a couple of places where bubbles are starting under the finish and small rust at the front of bed on both sides and one on the tailgate...most easy fixes if you so desire or drive it like it is. The passenger side rocker could use some attention as well. The shifter indicator has slipped down 1 space but still functions properly. The 4 wheel drive goes in while setting but struggles a bit on the fly. My dealer told me it probably needed a relay..Costs about $65.... just never got around to changing it as i would just engage the unit sitting still then go. I parked the truck soon after anyways. I have gotten countless comments wherever i have gone about what a beautiful truck this is. It comes with a Super Chip that i bought but never installed . Only parked it because i needed a bigger truck to pull my camper. The seats were taken out and new carpet installed when i had the truck painted plus i have kept Saddleman covers on the front seats. Drivers seat cover (cover only not seat) has a hole worn in it from sliding in but still looks good. While this truck shows it wear ....It IS a 97.....There are a lot of miles of service left in this truck. $500 due by Pay Pal at end of auction.
