Hi. We are a dealer in Oklahoma City that specializes in Corvettes. We took this Opel in on trade. It belonged to a 94 year old man! Whats even more unique is that he traded the Opel in on a Corvette! He proved you are never too old! Anyway, this is a 1971 Opel GT. I don't know really anything about these cars. This one has been repainted. The previous owner said he spent $3000 on a paint job but it looks like a decent "Maaco" paint job. In my opinion is looks like a $500 to $1000 paint job. It has an automatic transmission and a 4 cylinder engine. It does run and drive actually well. The motor does not smoke or leak but the transmission does leak. I'm not sure where it is coming from but I would think most vehicles in this price range and age would leak. It looks rust free from what I can tell. There are no definite giant rust areas!
