This ultra rare 1949 Lincoln Convertible 9-EL. There are to be only 14 of these left in the world and I have the list! Try and find one on the internet and let me know! This is not the Cosmopolitan version but the smaller “Baby Lincoln”. The guru of these cars states that there were 24 of these built that year. This is a former show winner and is able to be driven right now. The interior is awesome and the body is rust free. No rips or tears in the seats or door panels. This was professionally restored in the 70’s and the lacquer paint has cracks and flakes here and there but the body is straight and the chrome is bright. The engine is the correct Lincoln Flat Head 8 (not a ford replacement) and starts right up, runs smoothly, and drives this baby with authority. Transmission and clutch shift smoothly as well. Lights and turn signals work as they should. The top and window hydrallics work great and the top canvas is decent. I wish there was more to say but this cars has no needs and only paint to return this to a show winner. This is a tough car for me to sell because of the condition and how rare it is. I have other places this money needs to go. I am honest with any of the cars I sell from my private collection so I expect you to be as well.
