1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Original 440 Magnum Rotisserie Restoration. Original Body Panels. Only metal replaced was piece behind rear window. Painted base coat, clear coat original Plum Crazy Purple. New rally stripe. All doors, hood and trunk line up great. New front and rear bumpers, New head light rims. All new weather stripping. Complete Rebuilt. Non Matching 440 4 Barrel with less than 3000 Miles (this was originally a 440 car). 727 Transmission also rebuilt with less than 3000 miles. Edelbrock Carb, Electronic Ignition, A/C Compressor rebuilt (Not hooked up & I do have lines and condenser) New P/S gear box and P/S pump. Power drum brakes, shoes, hardware drums, wheel cyls are all new. Complete rebuilt front end. Flow Master Mufflers with 2 1/2" tailpipes and chrome tips (sounds great). Original 8 3/4 Posi. Rear End. New rear leaf springs with rear load lever shocks and traction bars. New front shocks. According to body tag car originally had white seats and everything else black. It was redone that way. Re upholstered bucket and rear seats with new foam. Car also originally had a white vinyl top. I chose not to put one on but the holes were not filled in and the chrome is still in place if new owner wants to put one on. New carpet and door panels. Custom R/T Floor Mats. Original woodgrain steering wheel. New Sill Plates. New headliner and dash pad. Original Radio (dash has not been modified) AM FM with CD player (has remote) mounted underneath. Electric Antenna. Rally Dash. New Rally Tach. All gauges work (Clock not working) New windshield. All other glass good no cracks or chips. Drivers side rear window has scratches on glass. Not working: Dome light (under dash lights work), heater blower motor works on low only, Wipers work only on low (have another switch) Vin # Decode J-Challenger S-Special R/T 23-2 door Hardtop U-440 375 HP 0-1970 E-Los Angeles California 114310-Sequence Number American racing wheels with Grand AM Radial GTs Front: 215/65 R15 Rear: 235/60 R15 This is not a 100 point car but a very nice mopar classic. This car runs and drives great. Looks Outstanding. Great for Cruise Nights and Car Shows. Anyone restoring or has restored a classic Challenger R/T knows what it cost to get it to this level. Still a few small things to finish to make it your own. Has been driven last 2 years less than 3000 miles. Not a trailer queen. Paint shows some small chips and scratches.
