Great 78 FJ 40 for sale. Frame off restoration. The frame was sand blasted and painted. The tub was also removed sandblasted and the entire underneath and inside is Line-x black and the rest of the body painted with a 2008 toyota gray color, I still have paint code if needed. There are a few minor scratches but nothing very major, just regular everyday use. The inside of the firewall also Line-x, great insulation. The engine has not been rebuilt because it didn't need it burt did replace all major seals on timing cover, valve cover, manifold, oil pan and few other parts. New parts on it are alternator, brake booster, radiator, starter and oil pan. Have D.U.I distributor and a Red Top Optima battery. Land Cruiser has power steering which i used a scout steering box and saginaw pump. Disc brakes all round that why i have the bigger improved chevy brake booster. The carb was recently rebuilt by Jim Chenowerth and runs great. The transmission recently had all the seals replaced and serviced by mechanic, it has the original 4 speed. All new tie rod ends and heavy duty tie rod from Man-A-fre. New headers and Flo Master exhaust. Has rear locker, Lock-Rite. The LC has a 4 inch lift from Rouch Country and Cool Cruisers shackels. Tires are very good with matching brand new spare and they are 33x12.50x15 0n steel rims with 21/2 backspacing. The tires are Pro Comp X Terrain with about 75% tread left. Full roll cage from Metal-Tec and custom front and rear bumpers. The winch DOES NOT come with truck! rear bumper has two swing outs for tire and gas cans. Seats are racing seats with 4-point harness seat belts. Has a Tuffy center console. There is no heater in LC but the correct wiring and plumbing is in place if one is ever needed. Have a full hard top and solid doors rust free and all matching in color. i spent nearly 2 years building this rig and have done some light weekend trails and everything works great.There is not many nuts and bolts that i didnt replace and most with stainless steel or grade 8 bolts.
