Vehicle Detail
For sale a nice used 47' CJ-2a jeep. Running condition, everything works fine but the brakes could use a master cylinder. Body is in pretty nice original condition with the only damage being a rust spot on the passenger rear quarter, and the passenger floor has a plate of metal on the floor. The complete nose with windshield is excellent shape, as is the undamaged dashboard with all good gauges. The frame is also very good shape, with the original bumper gussetts still intact, bolted to a homemade bumper that is easily removable. Rear drawbar is in perfect condition. The axles appear to have been changed out by a previous owner to MB military units both front and back. You can see the military axle mount bellcrank not connected, as the 2a has a crossmember mounted bellcrank. Would make a nice jeep to restore or use as is. Clear NY transferable registration. I believe that the passenger seat is here in the garage and is included.. Please email questions, thanks. On Oct-15-11 at 11:21:34 PDT, seller added the following information: I added a few pictures of the wheel wells, and front bumper. The problem (rust) areas on the body are the passenger floor, toolbox bottom, and rear body corner. The rest, including drivers side, is suprisingly good for the year. One complete passenger floor pan replacement would fix it up.. Please note the jeep was in indoor storage for the last 8 years, and will require some work to be roadworthy!
