Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 We are excited to offer up for auction this very nice, clean vintage Triumph in the old school style. Bike starts easily and runs great with a very strong engine. As with other bikes we have built we are extremely meticulous with the build process. This Triumph was built from the bare frame up; we media blasted the frame and painted it with a base coat clear coat application. All parts of the bike were assembled with great care, as is evident when you look at the pictures. We realize the description of this bike is longer than most bikes offered for sale on eBay, but we wanted to share as much as possible about this Triumph and all the professional work that went into this custom build. Frame Number: TR6-DU32659 (1966 frame)Engine Number: T120R-DU59593 (1967 Bonneville engine) Title: Clear Arizona Title in our name The engine was torn down completely and rebuilt to insure it would meet our high standards; from sludge trap up with a new top end and bore job, pistons, rings, pins, etc. The bore is 0.30 over and there is a fresh valve job with all new guides. Needless to say the rod, crank bearings, gaskets and seals are all new as well. The carbs are brand new Amal 930’s, no rebuilt carbs on this beautiful bike. I do realize I could have used the less expensive aftermarket carbs for this bike as they work just fine; but I really wanted to stay true, wherever possible, to the character and style of the old school bikes. The transmission is in great shape as well. So many new parts went into this bike that I am certain I may leave some off the list below as I may have simply forgotten about them! So for those of you who are like me and want to see the list of the new items just keep reading. Otherwise, skip past the list to read more about the bike and our reputation as builders! New Parts New Dunlop Gold Seal K-70 tires & tubes Fork seals, bushings, gators, clips & steering stops Handlebars, levers, grips and cables Headlight – This is an old style 50’s era British headlight complete and brand new Taillight – This is a British style (small) stop light with two bulbs; one taillight and one brake light Header pipes – Chrome 1.5” Foot control rubbers – Foot pegs, kick and shifter Chain Front sprocket – 20-T front and 46-T in rear (set up for speed) Custom leather seat – Custom made by La Rosa in an alligator pattern with new hairpin springs New rear rim made in England with new chrome nipples New sealed battery Sparks electronic box and Boyer Ignition including new 6 volt coils, plug wires and all other wiring New gas tank petcocks All hoses are new Amal carbs as well as the velocity stacks Newly re-chromed 60’s era oil tank The paint on the tank and fender is all custom and was professionally done. It is a beautiful antique cream white with a caramel color center stripe and gold pin stripping on the sides. It is absolutely stunning and will definitely get a lot of attention. The tank is spotless on the inside. All of the chrome emblems, center strip and side patches on the tank are new as well. Bike has Webco oil feed for rocker boxes and Webco ignition cover. We wanted to find a creative and unique way to hide the actual electronics instead of just sticking them on the frame. We happen to have this old 1940’s era brass canister laying around. So we cleaned it up and cut it down so we could mount it under the oil tank. The top comes off just by removing the springs on the side, should you ever need to get inside. The brass color really compliments the overall color scheme of the bike and the old style is a natural fit. As the bike does have a new top end, the winning bidder will need to ride it a bit on the easy side until it is broken in, as there is only test time on the bike. This is one beautiful 45 years old British machine and will only continue to increase in value as time goes on. A must have for your rare bike collection. Of course it is a blast to ride as well! Be sure to check out the video of the bike running and look at all the pictures we have posted. At the end of the description we have listed some of our feedback regarding other bikes we have sold over the years. Please review these feedbacks, check them out for yourself against the list in eBay and know you can bid with confidence. If you have any questions or want any additional information please email us! Now for a few notes about shipping, etc!Ebay has a terrific tool for shipping quotes.
