I'm re -listing to due a non- paying bidder. Cap does not go with the truck. 1970 GMC 4wd pickup. Has a 350 engine. It is not the original engine. It's a rebuilt 4 bolt main motor. It has about 60,000 mi. on it. The transmission is a 4 speed with granny gear. The 4 wheel drive works. I drove this truck from my home in Westchester County NY to my house in Cape Cod Mass. one month ago, with 1000 lbs. of lumber on it. There were no issues. I drove around on Cape Cod for 2 weeks then I brought lighter load back. No issues. The truck is not really a highway vehicle. It's geared low. I only do about 50 or 55 mph with it. . It's really an around town ,short run truck. I really like this truck a lot. Don't want to sell it but, the wife dosen't see a need for 2 trucks and I have another truck that is a little more modern and can do 70mph on the highway. Of course I do see a need for 2 trucks. I like having a lot of vehicles. It's an illness. There is a considerable amount of rust on the truck. Pretty much every panel has some rust or rust through. You can drive it as is, like I do ,or you can restore it. Door locks do not work. Windows roll up and down but, are stiff. Tail gate opens and closes .I've put about $7000 in parts and labor into this truck over the past 3 yrs. People think I'm nuts to put money into an old truck. I love old vehicles. I've had many in my 40 yr. driving career. It has a new brake booster, new drag link, new ball joints, new power steering pump, brakes have about 5000 mi. on them .Has and Edelbrock carb. on an aluminum intake.New gas tank and sender. I paid a 4 digit figure to buy and have the motor put in. Tires are good. It has a valid NYS inspection sticker. I'm going to put new belts on it tomorrow. They haven't been changed in 2 yrs. To say it's a good truck ... beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's a great truck. I would and have driven it anywhere. The cap is not on it anymore. It does not go with the truck.
