Vehicle Detail

This is a 1932 fiberglass Ford 5 window chopped coupe rolling chassis "American Graffiti" style project car. Body is 3 years old, VERY straight, no wavy panels. Roof is reinforced with high strength matting. All the mold seams have been sanded and primed--ALL THE HARD WORK HAS BEEN DONE!! All garnish moldings, dash panel and gas tank cover are included with vehicle. Door inner and outer panels have been bonded together with SEM'S 39747, which is the BEST in the business for bonding fiberglass panels. The sueside doors are hung & have bear claw latches. The inner and outer panels of the trunk lid have also been bonded with Sem's. Trunk lid has been hinged with Speedway's HEAVY DUTY UNIVERSAL TRUNK HINGES. A brand new windshield is INCLUDED but not installed. A brand new METAL RADIATOR SHROUD AND NEW STAINLESS STEEL GRILLE from VINTIQUE are included. Both are made to fit perfectly together and hardware is included. The frame is a "C-notched frame"--you can make it a real low rider. The frame's stamped rails and mounts are TOP OF THE LINE and are from Cain's Hot Rods in New York; they use the same thickness steel for the boxing plates as is used for the outer rails. They use a larger spreader bar in the rear and shock rail square tubing (2-1/2" x 1-1/2") and are larger than most standard frames--SUPER STRONG! Frame has been sprayed with three coats of PPG's Transtar 6131 Epoxy Primer/Sealer. Bottom of the body was given the same 3 coat treatment. All shock absorber mounting brackets are from Speedway. Motor mounts are installed and are for a big or small block Chevy. Transmission mount is installed for long or short tailshaft. Barake booster & pedal have been installed. There is also a Vega steering box installed. The front end is a Super Bell Dropped I-Beam axle from Pete and Jake's with 11" GM disc brakes and Hair Pin setup, with 5 on 4.75 B/P. The lug nuts are 7/16 x 20. Also included and installed is a front panhard bar from Pete and Jake's. Rear end is a used 10 bolt GM Sonoma with air shocks. Radius rods and brackets were custom made by Lechols of Lechols Hot Rods, Carson City, Nevada. These are TOP OF THE LINE for strength and looks. The gas tank is a metal 10 gallon tank from TANKS with chrome gas cap from Speedway Motors. Also included is a fiberglass gas tank cover, also from TANKS. The gas tank has been installed but not the cover. Wheels and tires are from a Sonoma pickup truck used just to support the car on all 4's. All mounted parts have either been welded or have grade 8 fastners. This project car is sold as is NO TITLE/NO WARRENTY IMPLIED I purchased this car on eBay in 2008, I have done some work to it but for the most part it has been sitting in storage. I just purchased a new shop that needs a lot of rehab. Afew projects have got to go to free up some $ to get the new shop in order. My loss could be your gain. Thanks for visiting my site and Good Luck. Got questions... Give me a call. Lets make a deal. Gabriel @ Hot Rod Alley 406-672-1207
