This car has been listed for 3 hours and I have received six offers and a close to a hundred views. I have promised folks I would take interior and more detailed pics in the morning when the sun comes up, but I honestly feel (been selling on eBay for 20-some-years) it will sell before then. I'm gonna raise the Buy-it-Now price from twelve to 1400 dollars now, but you can STILL over ANY amount you desire. Our local salvage yard offered us $900 for it, as-is, where-is, or said they would make it run with a motor swap, with warranty for $900., but my son now has a negative attitude about the car. I just spent MORE than $1,100., just doing a top-end rebuild, including water pump, belts with tensioner, and hoses. The car comes with no battery. I had to 'jump' it to roll up the windows once. This is a FLORIDA car with virtually NO rust or corrosion. I have been working on it a lot this week and no bolts were rusted or difficult to remove. We did the best work possible, with professional mechanics who work at the dealer (side job), since we had hoped this car would get my son thru four years of college. It WOULD have if he had not previously so severely overheated it to the point where the crank bearings were evidently damaged, but I don't even buy lottery tickets, I gamble on life, instead. My son now has emotional misgivings about this car, thought the two-liter engines have reputations (especially with the manual transmission) of being bulletproof. The gamble was STILL positive for me, since it is the FIRST car my son has EVER worked on and his mechanical abilities have grown exponentially. This car COULD come with a HAYNES and a like-new, hardback BENTLY manual, if you desire, but they are NOT included in this auction .Include any desire for manuals in your BIN offer, if you desire, by using the notes field. All window cranks, motors, sunroof, sunroof switches and motors work perfectly, with no leaks. This car was overheated a blew a head gasket. We had a head and valve job performed and then it threw a rod. There is a hole in the oil pan and engine seems seized. All new top end. Six good tires.
