1968 Suzuki T500 Cobra Beautiful and functional restoration. We restore Airplanes and Motorcycles. We have restored several Suzukis many of which have been the T500s. And have also built many Daytona Bike Winners over the years. This Cobra has been ridden and is fully sorted. Not just a looker but a rider unlike so many restored bikes. This bike has been ridden at Daytona Bike Week for the last 3 years. It has won awards at many Daytona events including the Rats Hole against some of the best. Everything was gone through. All of the fasteners were cleaned, repaired or replaced (many have the Suzuki "S" on them) and Cad Plated. They were cooked at 300 degrees to get all of the contaminates out so there won't be any "cad cancer" down the road. New Bearings in the Engine, Wheels, Neck, Trans. New Pistons, Rings, and Wrist Pins. New Trans. New Tires. New Tubes. New Spokes. New wiring harness. New Grips, Pegs, Shifter Tip, and Kick Starter. New Kick Starter. New Tach. New Speedometer. New Handlebars. New Cables. Carbs overhauled. New Carb Boot. New Aircleaner. New Brake Shoes. New Brake Springs. New Chrome on the Rims, Fenders, Fender Braces, Taillight, Levers, Brake Pedal, Chainguard, Chain Adjusters, Hand / Grab Bar on Seat, Exhaust System, and Tank sides and Fork Lowers. Seat Professionally recovered with new Foam in New Zealand. All cases Walnut Shell blasted and Brushed for that Factory Finish. New Magneto. New Points. New Coils. The following Body Work taken down to bare metal and painted with Epoxy Primer and PPG Basecoat/Clearcoat finish: Gas Tank Oil Tank Headlight Rear Shocks Headlight Ears Frame Gas Tank is very clean inside.
