I installed a 1983 Jetta rebuilt turbo diesel engine in it. The engine has less than 100 miles on it. Here are 4 new tires on the car and new rear wheel cylinders. The Rabbit runs and drives great with a lot of power. It will need a new top someday and the center console gauges are not hooked up. It has AC, but is not working. Not part of my knowledge base. The car starts hard when cold [not broke in] and it has a plug in heater. This is not a perfect Cabriolet, but not a $10,000 car either. NO RUST Great fuel mileage and strong running.
