Please Note: This can be delivered at no cost to the mid Ohio meet in 2 weeks. Easily the best 1972 Honda CB350 K4 I have seen since they were introduced. Let’s just say that with a minimum of work, this will be a show stopper at any event. I am very careful about my descriptions having gone on many wild goose chases to see bikes and cars that turned out to be in far less condition than advertised. I am sure many of you have been in the same boat so I will do my utmost to describe this beauty so that there are NO disappointments. It has VIN CB350-4040803 with Mfg. date of 12/71. It shows 11224 miles but it is very hard to believe that it has anywhere near that amount and I will tell you why as we go along. It is in "Gentle Maroon Metallic" which is one of those colors you rarely see and this one is unbelievably beautiful condition showing absolutely no sun fade and only has a few small chips in tank or small light scratches that might polish out. It has brand new tires and you can still see the rubber thingies protruding from them. The chrome is almost perfect and only has two very small spots that are not as new. Quarter size section on front fender has slight roughness but no rust and same on front wheel in one tiny spot. The rest is stunning. It is all original with NO touchup and the frame looks like it just rolled out of the factory with only a few tiny chips in unobtrusive spots and a few tiny chips on the taillight mount. The engine is super clean and even the chrome covers on top of the carbs are crisp and bright. I was going to clean the engine side cases and respray but new owner may wish to polish them instead. The wheels and hubs and spokes are in exceptional condition as can be seen. The nuts and bolts everywhere do not look like they had a wrench on them and any chromed ones are bright and rust free. The seat is stunning with resilient foam and only has a flaw that occurred when the guy I bought it from, was unloading it from his trailer and he made a 1 1/2" tear on the left side. grrrrrrrrr. Here are the 3 other flaws....left fork cover below the headlight ear is damaged with a dent (does not affect the fork tubes), the left side cover has the top vent broken out (I just purchased a used one in the correct color and will add a photo on Sunday night and this will be on the bike) and the chrome strip at bottom edge of seat near the front on tight side has a small bend in it. The mufflers do not look stock but are sleeker and look great with no rusting and the head pipes are beautiful with no bluing. Even the exhaust nuts look new. It runs beautifully and everything functions as it should. Starts easily, idles smoothly with and without choke, pulls strong with no stumbles, no exhaust smoke when starting it up or after warmed up. No question that the original owner babied it and always kept it spotless. It has a new battery and everything on it works perfectly. New Hampshire does not require a title for motorcycles this old but can get one if you require one for an additional $100.00. Please note that I use my own picture service so you get larger and higher quality photos and I took many to show every aspect of this bike so you get no unwanted surprises. And unlike many of the listings on eBay, I have gone to great lengths to fully disclose any problems. These have become very desirable as you can see from the later one item 140572109117 that just sold for $5,454.23 and that one even though it listed with lower milage had pitting on wheels and needed a battery plus the front brake system needed to be gone through as it is beginning to bind up, none of which you would have to worry about with this one. I also thought of purchaseing a speedometer with zero or low miles on it as this bike looks like it was not used much but will leave that decision to the new owner.
