Anyone that knows anything about 60's American muscle cars knows that a Yenko Camaro is one of the most collectible, highly sought after, and expensive Camaros ever. What many don't know is that what makes a "Yenko" was Don Yenko's massive Chevrolet dealership modifying stock Camaros with performance and cosmetic upgrades to satisfy customers with the desire and money for the kind of Camaro Chevrolet coudn't or wouldn't build. These cars were known as the best of the best and were feared by everyone else on the street. Although hundreds were made, Yenko Camaros were very rare and now bring hundreds of thousands of dollars. Imagine if Yenko Chevrolet only made one such Camaro, and you had the opportunity to purchase this rare and powerful monster with just 19K miles, still in showroom condition, and near the bottom of it's value, having deprciated from new, but yet to apprciate to collector car age and value. The Hugger edition was produced by Buds Chevrolet in Saint Marys, OH, a very large and well known dealer specializing in Corvettes as well as classic GM muscle. This car was ordered from Chevrolet in the rare Hugger Orange with Dark Gray Leather interior and 6spd manual transmission. It also received the factory Z28 preferred equipment group including: Cruise, Electric trunk release, Fog lamps, Power remote locks, Power mirrors, Power windows, Leather steering wheel, Power driver seat, Alarm, and floor mats. It also received Leather interior and the Monsoon sound system as factory options. From there, the capable team at Buds Chevrolet added their finishing touches including: 17" x 9.5" Fikse forged aluminum wheels, Michelin 275/40/ZR17 tires, Hurst competition plus shifter, Borla cat-back SS tunable exhaust system, and the signature custom black and orange graphics professionally painted on (not a decal that will fade or peel) with monochome black trim. All said, this car was almost $31,000 when new. AS if this weren't enough, this beauty was further upgraded by it's only owner to give it the stance, stability, power, and roadholding it deserved with a complete Coil-Over front suspension with adjustable spring height, rear lowered coil springs, and Bilstein shocks at all 4 corners, front strut tower brace, frame stiffening ties welded to the unibody, upgraded rear trailing arms, driveshaft brace, Urethane sway bar bushings, and MTI air intake system. The result is the most impressive Camaro I have ever driven to date. The sound, power, and feel of this car is nothing short of amazing. It is truly the car that Chevrolet should have built, although the result likely would have been so expensive, not many could have afforded the result. As for the car's condition, this is an impeccable ONE OWNER garage kept showpiece that has never seen foul weather, never been wrecked, and seemingly pampered like it was the owner's first born. I describe all cars condition relevent to their age and mileage. What is described as excellent on a ten year old 60k mile car, may not be as excellent as on a two year old 15k mile car.
