1984 Honda Interceptor VF750F CONDITION This bike is in great shape with low miles. As you can see from the pictures it very clean. It is pretty much 100% stock. It does have an aftermarket full chin spoiler on it. It is not the cheaper Air Stream fairing it is the solid fiberglass version. I believe these fairings are European some have said KEIM from Germany but I don't think thats right, the KEIM is bigger. It has the normal dents and dings for a bike this age. Tank was stripped inside with Evapo-Rust. I believe it has the Original tires, pipes are in great shape. Runs excellent, cams are fine, doesn't have any valve issues. I had the carbs rebuilt with all new parts and had them polished in California, all carb hardware has been replaced with chromed hex heads by the rebuilder. (This was a 250.00 service) Below is a list of what I replaced to get the bike back on the road: Carbs rebuilt completely and polished Brand new Battery Brand new Honda hand grips Brand new Honda High Output brand Oil Change with Filter Brand New Honda factory fuel filter New Fuel Lines Added full fairings Has a K&N air filter (older but just cleaned and refreshed with K&N oil I replaced the entire wire harness with a used but perfect one. New rear signal bulbs All these items are from spring 2011 Headlights, lights, signals and switches all work, the horn itself is toast, the switch does work power is reaching it but its just old. Starts right up, very responsive and powerful shifts great. Has over 75% on its brake pads all three calipers are perfect. I would encourage anyone within range to stop by and check it out. No one will be allowed to ride it until they own it. I have the title it is not in my name .....yet. The man I bought it from, kept the title unsigned as the seller from the original owner and gave it to me. I will also provide a bill of sale including all my and the info from the buyer I bought it from. I have receipts to support my big ticket items i.e. carbs etc. Why did I put this stuff into it just to sell it? Well the fun for me is saving them from the squids that let them rot in thier garage. I also need the money for a Honda Benly 150 restoration. The guy I got it from likes motorcycles, has a bunch, but in my opinion should stay away from tinkering. He collects them, rolls them out, cleans them and puts them back in the garage. One of the side panels ( right side) the lettering isn't an exact match but the colors are. A bolt for the battery cage is snapped in the frame, easy drill and tap, but its hidden under a panel so its been zip tied. There is also a small tear in the seat vinyl on the left side of the seat towards the rear, but hard to see esp when sitting on it These superbikes in the 1980's revoutionized AMA Superbike racing, Google Fred Merkel, he was huge at Road America here in WI. These are awesome bikes, from a maintenance/mileage perspective smoke a harley (which I also own) they have more horspower, and are faster. These are also getting more and more rare in this condition. So many young kids rattle can paint these things thinking they are making a better looking sport bike and they just turn them into a mess. Guarunteed lotsa lookers at local bike shows. You get the youngs kids who have never seen one and then you get guys like me who wanted them in high school. Awesome gas mileage and reliability plus you can get parts super cheap on ebay so wether a collector or a guy with a truck looking to save gas money this is perfect.
