Buyer Comment: I purchased my 97 Cadillac SLS used in '02 with 90k miles on it. It is now 2010 and has 160,000 miles and not 1 major repair has been needed. The only thing that was done was I've changed the shift solenoids in the trans twice at $500 per pop. That was the only problem I have had. I love this car and the reliability that she has given me. This is a very nice car and a joy to drive. Loaded with options. It is a 4.6 litre multi point injection system. It is also a front wheel drive, which is safe in the rain and on slippery roads as opposed to a rear drive car. AC Blows cold. It IS NO RESERVE--so bid to win! Car runs good. Starts and runs everytime. Body and paint look good. Nice leather upholstery. Glass is good. All power windows and seats work. Gauges all work. Tires are close to new. Good car for around town, traveling, etc. Tags are good till Nov. 2011. Lots of trunk space. Motor Trend says it gets 17-26 mpg. The car has the manual. Passenger mirror loose. Paint is OK. My mileage is 18.5 in town and 22 MPG on the open road.When I need power and it feels like my lips are being stretched by G force. It is a great performer I just got this car from Ebay a month ago with almost 170K miles. However, everything works as it should and the 300HP engine is still going strong when I paunch it to the floor. Used primarily as commute car to out-of-state job and have found it can do 28-29MPG on highway. For a 4600CC engine and 4000lb car, this is incredible.
