FOR YOUR INFORMATION: I am relisting this van because the buyer decided not to pay, since he allegedly allowed his son access to his computer and the son bid on the van over several days without the buyer's knowledge. NOTE: If you have less than 10 postive feedback, or any negative feedback, you need to call me before you bid or I may cancel your bid 719-738-6442 Arnold 1978 VW Westfalia Poptop Camper I am offering at auction with a low reserve this 1978 VW Westy Pop-top which I took in trade on a 1978 hardtop camper. The previous owner drove it about 1000 miles to pick up his new camper. It runs and drives great. The engine was rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago and the brakes re-done. Engine and brake work were about $2850. He had the van for about 8 years. It has a 2 Liter fuel injected engine. Starts and runs great. The van was originally Mexican beige. It has a cracked windshield and needs a new canvas. He had put Rabbit seats in it. It needs new tires also. The rear and upper beds are in good condition. It has a table, sink and camper stove. It has a dual battery set up and a 110 V outlet. The front curtain, rear screen and childs cot are in it. Rockers and jack points are solid as shown in the pictures. The dog legs have some rust, as well as the front floor on the driver’s side as seen in the pictures. There is damage to the left rear tail light area and the section to repair it is in the van with a good engine lid. It has new top seals. Fly in and put new tires on it and drive it home.
