For sale is a beautiful 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 in showroom condition, inside and out. It has always been garage kept (never ever stored outside). This car has an oil cooled engine. It has under 67000 original miles on it, even though the engine was meticulously overhauled in 2004 when it had approx 60000 miles on it, meaning the rebuilt engine is still practically brand new. The previous owner was very very meticulous, perhaps obsessive about servicing this car and performing preventative maintenance, always using a certified Porshe service technician or service center. I have all the records for everything that has been done. The engine was rebuilt because he wanted the car to be perfect, not because there was anything wrong with the car. In addition, according to a magazine article by either Porsche Magazine or Car and Driver, there are 3 inherent issues this car can have, all of which have been upgraded and/or replaced. Those upgrades are: cylinders have been modified and new head gaskets installed, updated distributer with improved belt, replaced original flywheel with LUK DMF flywheel. I also have the spec sheet from the engine rebuild, which is very extensive regarding new parts, such as all new bearings (intermediate shaft, main, rod, clutch lever, pilot), piston rings, connecting rods, all the belts, plugs, clutch assembly, crankcase and head gaskets. The total bill for the overhaul was $8000. I have seen other Porsches for sale of similar year and model and perhaps similar condition (but not likely) minus the overhaul and upgrades, with twice as many miles on them and they're asking for more money. This car is worth a lot more than the starting bid, but in order to make a quick sale it is up for bid with NO RESERVE. You will not find a 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 in better shape anywhwere. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. THERE REALLY IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS CAR. IT REALLY IS PERFECT. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS STEAL BEFORE IT SLIPS AWAY.
