1975 Ford F-150 INCREDIBLE CONDITION This is a 1975 Ford F-150 in Incredible condition for it's age! This truck was a "SPECIAL ORDER" from Ford by a business owner in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He ordered this truck to his specs and used it as his personal vehicle. We have a couple booklets of service notes and the old gentleman spared no expense at maintaining his pride and joy! He then sold the truck to his Son on 12/30/2009. We purchased this truck from his Son here in NC and have CLEAR TITLE. Stats and Specs:1975 Ford F150360 cubic inch V8 (Bored 20 over when rebuilt 30,000 miles ago)Crank was turned .10 over and everything in engine was new parts T-18 Borg Warner 4 Speed Manual Transmission3.25 Rear Ratio Based on the records we have, we believe this truck to be 147,000 miles. The gentleman never included the roll over of the odometer in his notes so even later records in the 90's show less than 100,000 miles BUT, we believe that when the engine was rebuilt in 11/1989 and the notes say mileage was 14,600 miles that this must have been 114,600. Either way you look at it, this engine was professionally rebuilt about 30,000 miles ago. SO, the truck has seen about 30,000 miles of driving in the last 22 years. Everything appears to still be working with the exception of one of the two fuel tanks is disconnected. Even the Air Conditioning is still working but may need a little freon added. R-134 systems do not cool well at idle and we have not driven the truck at speed long enough to tell how cool it will get. Also has a slight exhaust leak which we believe is at one of the exhaust donuts which will be a fairly easy fix. WE MAY even have that fixed before you arrive to pick it up if time allows us. We have an incredible amount of detail, photos, and service records that we will include below so you have all the information you need about this wonderful find! Not every detailed note will be included here but we'll hit the highlights. Notes are consistent enough to show that the oil was changed every 15-1600 miles on this truck. Buy-it-Now price is $4800. or a reasonable offer. You're welcome to make an appointment with us and view this truck in person if you wish, just contact us. The truck is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the listing for a local buyer that makes the purchase at our location. Delivery may be available to the buyer within a certain area and additional cost OR we will load the truck onto the carrier of your choice at no charge if you want to arrange your own shipping / transportation. Link to Video of truck running (in case embedded video above isn't working) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDkOx9wydNY The truck hasn't seen much action in many years but, the more run time we give it the better it sound and smooths out. The truck was originally ordered with white top over red bottom. This was exactly opposite of what the majority of trucks during this year were painted (red over white).the original owner intentionally ordered this paint scheme so his truck would be different. We were told that the bed cap (camper shell) was ordered with the truck and has been on the truck since new. Just choosing a few mileage details and dates from the notes/records:11/1989 - 14,600 miles - New Engine at $1400. 03/20/90 - 17,500 miles - Oil Change05/25/90 - 18,689 miles - Oil Change03/08/91 - 21,000 miles - Replaced Master Cylinder01/22/92 - Seat was professionally recovered. ? - 28,450 miles - Power Steering Pump w/ Lifetime Warranty11/24/93 - 28,926 miles - New Heads, Camshaft, Lifters, Rocker Arms and Push Rods08/23/94 - 30,146 miles - New Heater Motor08/25/94 - New Ignition Switch05/03/96 - 33,695 miles - New AC compressor and conversion to R-13410/25/96 - 34,425 miles - New Radiator installed During 1998, it was noted that the truck was driven 1101 miles since the last annual inspection. You can see that the original owner spared NO expense in maintenance and fixed every flaw as it came up. There are even notes where he added gas treatment to the fuel, replaced coil, spark plug wires, points, and MORE. The tool box under the bed closes tightly and show very minimal surface rusting. This alone is unusual in a truck of this age. Other than a dried rubber gasket, the tool box is NICE. The Wide Track Baja All Terrain tires were installed on 01/18/01, mileage showing 44,626. These tires still on the truck have just 2700 miles on them. It is noted that these tires were purchased at a cost of $372.92. These tires with just 2700 miles on them, still have plenty of life left. There are a few rock chips in the paint on the truck. The photo below shows the very worst spot on top of the cab (passenger side). The 360 c.i. engine (bored 30 over) has been rebuilt less than 30,000 miles back. The Original style AC compressor is in place and WORKING. Note the BIG TRUCK horns on the inner fender. New Cap, Plugs, and Wires just installed. It also has a Motorcraft carb installed with automatic choke. We just replaced the accelerator pump gasket because it was dripping a little fuel The sticker on the air cleaner verifies the air conditioning system has been converted to the modern R-134 on 08/09/2000 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The bed has a full bed liner installed and some additional mats to keep items from sliding around.A white wall spare tire on the wheel with an original hub cap shows virtually no sign of use. The cap is fully carpeted to reduce interior heat.. The interior is just as nice as the rest of the truck. The seat was recovered on 01/22/92 and still looks good as new. A Cobra CB Radio is mounted in the cab ceiling. The carpet is still very nice and also has a full length rubber mat to keep it that way! The dash panel shows the AC controls and Auxiliary Fuel Tank selector switch.. The Electric Brake Controller system is ready to use.Extra gauges for Oil Pressure and Water Temps eliminate the guesswork of using the idiot lights on the dash. The oil change sticker is hard to read in the photo but super low mileage since this sticker was added in 2003. Behind the seat storage pouch for tools, maps, etc.. The truck can be connected to any type of trailer since it is wired with a 4 way flat and a 6 way round electrical connection. Also, TWO hitch balls for high or low trailers. Visit our eBay Store..
