For sale a 1972 Dodge dart swinger. 2 door 6 cylinder (straight) 225 CID. This car was bought brand new by its current owner. It is a one owner car. He is 90 years old now and cannot drive anymore. He is my wife’s Great uncle and am listing it for him since he has no means of listing it. It is not perfect but overall a great car with lots of potential. I will list everything and lots of pictures but will welcome all questions. The car has 65776 original miles. The car was never in any accident. The car has not been driven over 70 miles per hour ever in its entire life. The car has been garage kept its entire life. Has not been driven in inclement weather ever. The car has very minimal surface rust underneath but nothing major. The hood and trunk has its original paint. It is solid throughout. Frame, floors and body panels are solid. The car has had some paint work many years ago on the passenger’s side due to door dings. The front drivers side peice is not aligned because it was damaged and was epoxied back on. After closely examining it it came off and I took pictures to show the tabs were broken off. No damage to the fender or headlight area. The vinyl roof was painted some time ago for some strange reason maybe it was getting dull otherwise the roof is nice no rips some slight bubble on lower passenger side. Glass is all perfect. Interior has some light wear some light cracking on the seams more toward the driver’s side. Rear seats a mint. Headliner is mint except for a rub spot by the visor. Dash is perfect. Gauges are mint and all work. Radio works perfect. All lights and horn work perfect. Wipers work perfect. AC compressor engages I think it will need some Freon (R-12). Tires and brakes are great. Chrome is in great shape. Does not burn oil. Does not leak oil. Transmission works perfect. Overall the car is an 8 out of 10. The current owner slightly scratched the passenger side and I have taken some photos to show light scratch. We have had alot of inquiries on this car as offers. So we want to sell it before it starts to snow. We are starting the bidding on the lowest offer we had. It should be sold this week. Good Luck..
