2002 Toyota Camry LE 4-Door Sedan Insurance Salvage Vehicle This auction is for a 2002 Toyota Camry LE 4 door sedan. Last month I was involved in an accident with this vehicle. I was stopped waiting to turn into my driveway and I was rear ended by a dump truck hauling 10 tons of broken concrete. The driver slammed on his breaks but could not stop in time and hit my car. Since it was a rear end collision the air bags did not deploy and are still intact. The insurance company totaled the car but I retained the salvage. As it stands now the vehicle has a salvage Ohio title. The car is still drivable and handles like it was never in the accident at all. The turn signal light still worked so I used a piece of duck tape and attached a part of the yellow broken lens to it. This is my only vehicle so I am still driving it while I look for another car. Besides the major damage to the rear of the vehicle there are a few other problems with the car. The check engine light is on. I have hooked it to a diagnostic computer and got the error codes of P0441B and PO446B which translates to Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow. I believe this is a result with the problems I have with the fuel door. I don't think there was a good seal when the fuel door was closed and this allowed rust to develop where the fuel cap attaches. As a result a vacuum could not be created to properly vent the fuel vapors. Also the hinge of the fuel door has rusted off and will need to be replaced. There is also a problem with the driver side window regulator. The motor still works but the regulator is bent and will need replaced. The clips on the chrome trim on the drivers side window are also broken. As it stands now the bent regulator is holding the window in place but you cannot use the driver side window. All the glass on the vehicle is intact and does not have any chips or cracks. The engine undercover liner and both front fender liners were damaged and would need replaced. The engine could use a new belt. The plastic clip on the top storage compartment of the center console is broken and will not stay shut. One of the battery terminals is coroded and should be replaced. The interior has wear and should be considered in good to fair condition. I love this car and it is a shame to scrap it since it still drives great. If you are interested I can e-mail you the estimate I got from the body shop to fix the rear end damage. If there are any details an interested buyer would like to have please ask. I can take additional pictures if desired. The mileage I listed on this auction will not be accurate since I am still driving the car. I will probably have another 300 miles on by the time the auction ends and the vehicle is sold.
