1973 Cadillac Eldorado This car is one of many cadillacs from an estate in Colorado. It has been in indoor storage since late 1997. It is a two door red cadillac with a white vinyl hard top. It starts and runs good but this one is a fixer upper. The interior is OK but the leather seats are brittle and cracking. (mainly at the seams) The paint is good (it is bubbled in a couple of places). The pictures were taken in a covered area where we washed it so there is some glare. There is no rust, no dents, no scratches. It has the original hub caps and hood ornament The vinyl top has no damage but is yellowed. I think it just needs deep cleaned The speedometer says 30,371 but some paper work for repairs proves it not the first time around. It has an electric lift in the trunk and a receiver for a hitch. Looks like it is a setup for a wheelchair to sit on a platform on the back. Do not know if it works. Underneath the dash, the wires have been taken down and are probably in the middle of a repair. A switch to operate a blower or fan has been rewired and a new working switch is there. Don't know if the lift has wiring problems or doesn't work. All the lights work, interior, headlights, turn signal, brake, dash We have replaced the power steering belt (Squeaked and is fixed) Also we replaced the springs and one hinge on the hood but the hood is still not right. It will open and close tight and latch but when opened it wobbles like it is sprung Engine seems sound. Started right up after 13 years. Note on the car says it was running when it went into storage. It is not leaking oil. It is not overheating. Alternator is good and we, of course, had to replace the battery. Tires are good. Could be a great classic with some upholstery or seat covers and someone with knowledge for wiring.
