1960 Other Makes Ariel Arrow

Here is a chance to own a nice piece of vintage European motorcycle history! This Ariel would make a perfect addition to your collection as well as a true stand out on bike night or in a show! Bike has a clear Arizona title in my name and both the frame and engine numbers match – T10159. This is a no reserve listing! The bike runs great, drives nice, all gears and clutch work as they should. The prior owner spent over $1,000 on a new top and bottom end including new pistons, rings, bore job and rods. The parts were ordered from England and a reputable motorcycle shop completed the work. There is only about 200 or so miles on the engine since the work was completed. It is first over, on its first bore at 0.20 on the piston. Bike has new grips, battery and taillight lens as well as throttle cable. The bike was painted to the proper white and gold paint codes. The running lights, high and low beam, taillight, brake light and horn all work. Be certain to check out the video I have posted with this auction. The charging system works as it should. Most of the chrome on the exhaust system was showing its age so they were ceramic coated. One header pipe has some small dents on the bottom. In order to see these slight imperfections you would have to get under the bike. Both front and rear rims have some rust on the spokes; the rear wheel has rust on it as well giving it a touch of patina. Of course this will not hurt a thing and would be expected for a 50-year-old machine. Bike still has a nice Lucas headlight and lens as well as Lucas switches. Parts were media blasted and re-painted. It appears that the seat pan is original and the seat itself has recently been recovered. The bike is still in very nice condition for being 50 years old.
