Up for sale is a 1982 Mercedes 300SD. It is turbo. It is does not come with a title, so it is being sold for parts or if you are a dealer and may possibly have a way to get a title. This is my papaw's car and I'm selling it for him. He purchased it from his brother before he passed away about 6 years ago. Car has a little over 200,000 miles. The glow plug switch on the dash does not work so we ran a wire to a switch on the inside that runs to the glow plugs to pre heat them. The setup works good. Car starts good. Engine does smoke some (white smoke), but the car hasnt been driven very much. Transmission shifts thru all gears and works good. Car is pretty solid body wise to be a 28 year old car. Paint is pretty good. Does have some scratches and one or two rust spots. Passenger quarter panel has a small dent. Windshield is cracked. Trunk does not have the lock. It does have a sun roof. All lights work. Wheels have some corrosion from age. One tire is dry rotted, the rest are descent shape. The interior is the roughest part on this car. The carpet needs cleaned. Dash is cracked. Does not have a radio. Passenger seat is rough. Rear headrest have the leather deterioted on them. All windows and switches work except the passenger side. This is all the visual damage I could find and have described it to the best of my ability. Car is sold as is with no warranty.
