Vehicle Detail
Hi! You are bidding on an ultra-rare 1963 260/4-speed sports coupe. This is the same kind of car that was converted by Tasca Ford into the prototype Thunderbolt! This car was special ordered, built and delivered in Kansas City, Missouri. It is a restoration project, but comes with MANY extra parts from a donor car (including quarters). I had planned on a glass front end from Crites, but good fenders are found on Ebay for around $100. It is missing one factory seat as well as the generator car was originally Glacier Blue with that great two tone blue interior. Console is in great shape. Good, sound body with solid cowl, floors, rockers, torque boxes, trunk, etc. Will require MINOR rear frame repair. All hard to find trim is there and 90% salvageable. Car comes with a new grill and valve covers. Also comes with a complete fresh set of 1966 K-Code heads ready to bolt on. (Deep recessed valve spring pockets, screw in freeze plugs). These heads sell for $1200 to $1400 complete. (Motor is running, but was slated for a complete rebuild). VIN # is 3K47F149405, Body Code 65B, Color Code Y, Trim 82, Date Code 17A, DSO 53, Axle 4 (3.25: 1 open), Trans 5 (4-speed manual). LOVE this car, but am forced to sell due to financial reasons. The opening bid is the reserve. This is a great start on a truly rare opportunity. Feel free to e-mail any questions to davezilla66@gmail.com. Good Luck an Happy Bidding!
