1968 Chevy Camaro Convertible - Project Car First of all, I am not a hard core muscle car enthusiast & don't claim to be, but I will try to describe this car to the best of my ability. I will try and answer all questions to the best of my knowledge on this car. If you need additional pictures, email me and let me know what particular spot on the car you want a photo of and I will send them to you. I am not going to misrepresent this car to make more money, but I also don't want to just give it away. All I want is fair market value due to it's condition. I purchased this car 10 years ago as a project for my son & I, but due to financial difficulties we both now have to let it go. Body- Lots of rust at the usual places. Floor & trunk pans needs replacement. Need right quarter panel. Doors, fenders, trunk lid look decent with just some surface rust. Interior- All I have are the front deluxe bucket seats that I had restored by having the frames sandblasted & powder coated, installed new foam and parchment deluxe covers. I never reinstalled them after I had them restored. I do not have the rear seats or any door or side panels. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Engine- Running Chevy 350 small block engine (not original). Go to the youtube link below to hear how it sounds. Transmission does not work(slips gears). Power front disc brakes but currently the pedal goes down to the floor, maybe just needs bleeding. These could possibly be easy fixes, but I don't have the time or money to do this. Top- I was told about 6 years ago that the frame was still in good shape for restoring. It is equipped with a power top as you can see in the pictures. Power top does not work due to the hoses being cut, but the motor does work when you flip the convertible top switch. Other Info.- Cowl tag indicates that this 68 Camaro to have been Rallye Green in exterior color, have a V8 engine, white convertible top, & Parchment (white) Deluxe Interior. Tag does not indicate if this is an SS. This Camaro is equipped with a Tic-Toc-Tach that redlines at 5000 rpms, some people I've talked to told me that this would make it an SS, but I've never read such a thing. This car has a clear title, registered non-op & I do have pink slip in hand. Extras- New black interior floor carpeting, New chrome front bumper. This car is for the serious re-builder.
