Extremely Rare, 1960 Mercury 2dr bubble top montclair cruiser with the big bad 430ci MEL power plant. To make it even better this car came from the Southern Calif Desert area If you donot know much about the 430MEL it has earned a few Nick names like the Hemi killer & Bull Dozer. Also 1960 was the last year Mercury had a totally different body & frame than a ford. This is a SoCal car that is amazingly rust free and is straight as glass. We hand sanded the orginal paint down to bare metal and have epoxy primered it and was able to block it straight with no body fillers !!!!!! It has air ride suspension front and rear with an onboard 12v air compressor, air tank and control switches. New custom made 15x6 front and 15x7 rear steel wheels. High dollar Gold stripe and narrow White wall radial tires 215/70/15 front and 235/70/15 rear with new kustom crab claw hub caps. The 430MEL looks totally stock and runs very strong. The old owner told me it had a rebuilt motor & transmission but I have no proof. It looks and runs like it could have been though. Have all the stainless steel trim and it is in very good condition, Grill & head light bezels are in good condition but will need replating if its going to be a show car and the front bumper not pictured is just like the rear bumper straight but will need to be replated. This car can be driven as is but if finished would make a more than Outrageous mild Kustom. Needs finish paint, interior redone, windshield and chrome & stainless steel refinished but it is in fairly good condition. Please do not bid on this car if you are trying to buy another and can not afford to buy both !!!!!!!! We highly recomend and welcome you to personally inspect this rare car before making a bid.
