Vehicle Detail

This is one BEAUTIFUL car! The pictures just don't do it justice. The color is a dark-ish orange metallic and the stripes are white with a bit of silver metallic mixed in. It's a really, really nice combo and looks awesome on this car. It has lived life with it's current owner in a garage under a car cover (which the winner will get, btw), so it is in EXCELLENT condition. Here's all the specs of this machine: • 1972 Chevelle restored frame-ON and turned into an SS clone. It is NOT an original SS. • 355 freshened and bored 30 over about 2,000 miles ago, engine and rear end (with stock gears) are #s matching, but NOT #s matching to the chassis. • 'Small' Lunati cam (not sure of specs) • 700R4 tranny with a shift kit installed at same time • Holley 650 cfm carb • Ceramic coated headers • Optima Red-top battery • Dual exhaust with Flowmasters • 2" lowering springs from Eibach • Power steering & power brakes • Paint and interior done at same time. Paint is 'Prowler Orange' (was a factory color on the '02 Plymouth Prowler) and the stripes are white with a bit of silver. The orange color shifts slightly in the sun and is just beautiful. The paint is very high quality, with no noticeable flaws. I won't say it's perfect, because paint quality is subjective, but I didn't see any problems at all as I was taking the pics. • Complete custom interior in tweed and synthetic leather. Custom center console with gauges. • NO tilt wheel • NO A/C • JVC CD player• Factory rear window defogger activated by a lever on the dash to blow air up onto the window • Sunpro tach with shift light• American Racing Torquethrust copies in chrome (20x8s in the rear, 17x7s up front) that have MAYBE 100 miles on them• Toyo Proxes 4 tires that have MAYBE 100 miles on themThe owner has somewhere between $25 & $30,000 in this awesome ride. But like many hotrodders, he's looking for a new project, specifically something like a '55 Chevy or a '32 HiBoy, so this one has to go to make room and make the funds. He knows he's going to take a loss, but simply won't give this car away. This is a sound, solid car capable of cruising all day. You could very easily fly in and drive it home to just about anywhere. I am an honest seller. check my feedback. I expect honest bidders. Listing fees are not cheap, and I don't want to waste my time and money with people that don't have the funds or intention of paying. I will do everything I can to facilitate the deal, but I will not hesitate to file a non-paying bidder complaint and leave VERY negative feedback. PAYMENT: Paypal is NOT AN OPTION! The funds are simply too high on this kind of dollar amount. Cleared funds MUST BE IN HAND before the care leaves our hands. This means that if you want to send a certified check, it will have to sit in my bank account for 7-10 business days before it clears, and before you can pickup the car or have it shipped. Wire transfers will be accepted, and those are immediate. The cost is something like $18, I think. Or cash on pickup is fine. SHIPPING: I have shipped a ton of motorcycles and atvs, but never a car. I know there are several shipping companies preferred by eBay, including DAS, but I have no idea what costs will be. I would think something around $1500-2000 to the West Coast. I do have a local shipper I work with that can deliver around the Southeast/Midwest. FEEDBACK: I wholeheartedly believe in eBay's feedback system. If there is any reason whatsoever that you can't give me 5 stars in every category, PLEASE give me the opportunity to work it out. Remember that 4 stars is not sufficient, according to eBay, so I strive to be 5-star-worthy. I think that's it. Please keep in mind that I have described this car as well as possible, but it IS used, and no warranty is given or implied. Please look closely at the pics and ask any questions. Just please don't wait until the last day of the auction, as I will NOT be able to answer you in time, and you may miss the chance to bid.
