This is a 1998 Mitsubishi 3000 GT SL model with an automatic transmission. It has been a show car all of its life. The existing 14,900 miles have been put on it to and from car shows, cruise nights, and weekend drives. This car has never been a daily driver nor set out in the sun by me or the previous owner other than at a car show. I have owned the car for 4 years. This car has won many trophies at local shows in the "Import Sports Car" classes. This car is an SL model which means Sport Luxury. It is truly a luxury sport model in that it has every available option that I know of being offered for this model. This includes, leather interior, factory chrome wheels, electric sun roof, infinity sound system, steering wheel sound system controls, power seats, etc. To my knowledge the car has never had any mechanical or body work performed on it. I have maintained it's smoke-free environment throughout my ownership. It runs and drives like any 14,000 mile car should. The car is original but for the battery which I replaced about 2 years ago. This garage queen has never been in any snow or salt and hardly ever wet except when being washed. I love this car! I am only selling it because I have found another sports car that I want so after 4 years am willing to let this exceptional car go to a new owner. I just don't know where anyone could find a $32---$33,000 car of this quality with less than 15,000 miles on it for $13,500. On Jul-24-10 at 18:51:01 PDT, seller added the following information: In answer to some questions about the car I want to offer as clear a picture of the car as possible to all interested parties with as many details as I can. This is the cleanest 3000 GT I have seen in years. It looks like the 14,900 mile car that it is. The tires are original to the car with 14,900 miles on them. They are wearing straight, have good tread, and no signs of weathering. The chrome wheels have NO rust or cracking on them, the chrome is excellent and highly polished. The interior of the car shows NO signs of wear, is clean, no scratches, etc. The sound system works perfectly as does everything else on the car. The sunroof opens and closes perfectly, does not leak, rubber seals are soft and pliable. The exterior presents high gloss red paint with no fading. In looking at the front of the car it is obvious that I have been successful in avoiding rock chips by not following other cars! I have just looked it over again VERY CLOSE for any, even minor imperfections. The only thing I can find is that if I look down the side into the sun I can see a knick on one rear fender well. It is only visible from certain angles and I have never been penalized for it at a car show, so it is very minor. I have tried pictures but it is insignificant enough that you can't see it in any photo I have taken. This is my show car so I am VERY picky and doubt most people would view it as significant enough to even mention. The engine runs smooth, uses no oil, does not smoke, etc. The transmission shifts smoothly as it should. This is the next best thing to a new car but for a heck of a lot less money. I can't imagine anything that a buyer would want or need to do to this car other than drive it. In fact, I would have taken it to a car show this weekend if I had not placed it on e-bay for sale.
