Vehicle Detail
This is an original California truck. 1959 GMC 100 short wheel base, fleetside bed, and big back window. The bed is very nice and these are quite rare to find in this condition. The cab is a big back window with all of its original glass. The rear glass is factory eze eye tint, both side glasses are safety plate with original band around the glass, vents are original but cracked, and windshield is original and has one very small nick in it. Floors are good on the drivers side and have some very minor rust on passenger side. Drivers side foot well and rocker are good. Passenger side rear of the rocker and foot well have slight rust through. Passenger side cab corner has rust through. Drivers side is good. Cab mounts are good. Dash is all original except for cut up area to put after market radio in. Has original deluxe heater. Front end is decent. Drivers side fender is damaged above the headlights. Passenger fender is rusted down low in the usual spot. Hood is very nice. Drivers side door is very nice, passenger side door is rusty at the lower front and rear corner. Grill has one ding in it and is complete. The marker lights have hairline cracks but are otherwise above average for this body style. Truck has original V8 and 3 speed trans. It retains its original spare wheel and hanger, jack and rods. Tailgate has some rust through along the bottom edge. I have original CA pinK from 1978 (Signed but not dated). Truck has both of its original CA black plates. This truck was last registered in 1991, so its off the books. I have not attempted to start the truck as its been sitting for almost 20 years. The truck does roll fine but has no brakes. The emergency brake seems to work fine. I do have the original headliner and air cleaner for this truck. Wood in the bed is gone but the slats look good. Feel free to call if you would like to look at the truck in person. I'm starting the bidding off cheap so that it will be sold Sunday night. I AM NOT OFFERING A BUY IT NOW ON THIS VEHICLE.
