Here is a great find! A nice 1972 Pontiac GTO, ready for restoration. This is a GTO Coupe with air conditioning, power brakes,power steering and originally equipped with bucket seats and console. Let's run down the good and the bad so you can be educated bidder: GOOD: Frame and undercarriage is NICE, no rot on frame. Floors are super nice as is trunk floor. Quarter drop offs also look good. Door bottoms have typical rust but are far better than most. Rockers look good. Door Panels are nice, carpet is respectable as is the rear seat. Nice Ralley II wheels with good tires. This is period correct 72 400 installed in car which is supported by the VIN. Unsure if its the original engine but we believe it is highly likely. BAD: Car needs a FULL restoration including paint and interior work. The paint is poor in general and needs to be stripped. Roof is rotted. Lower fenders are rotted. Seats and center console are missing. Dash is cracked. Engine is noisy and we believe there to be a hole in a piston. Plan on full rebuild. Mileage reads 85700 but is sold as exempt from disclosure due to its age. NO TITLE, sold with a bill of sale only. There are many states which you can obtain a title. Nice candidate for restoration.
