jlfs5306 Store This auction is for a stunning 2005 BMW R1150R Rockster in black, matte black, and bronze/copper color. This bike is in like new condition with 2177 miles on the odometer. This bike has the world famous BMW boxer engine. This is one smooth running engine. The bike has the factory heated grips, center stand, and ABS brakes. The bike has had the factory BMW 600 mile service and I recently paid about $200 for a new battery and the oils to be changed. The BMW battery was still in good condition, but I thought it was time for a new battery. The bikes Metzeler tires are in excellent condition and they still have the side knobs on the sides of the tires. The brake pads are also in excellent condition. The only spots that are on the bike is a small 3/8" scuff on the right side on the first vertical copper stripe as shown in the photo. The other paint spot is on the very bottom left hand cylinder where I accidently rubbed the bike on my trailer and the paint got rubbed. The paint spot measures about 1 1/2" long and about 1/8" tall You can see this in the photos. This spot can easily be covered with some of the blue cylinder paint, but it is hardly even noticeable, but I want to disclose in the auction. Other than this the bike is nearly in showroom condition. I would rate the bike a 9.5+ out of 10 on condition and the same for mechanical condition. I recently had the oil changed with high end German oil and a German oil filter. I've taken extremely good care of the motorcycle while I've owned the bike. You'll have a difficult time finding a 2005 R1150R Rockster in this condition with this low of miles. I liked this bike, so much I'm going to buy another BMW with the low suspension and seat. The only reason I'm selling is this bike seat height is too high for me and I can only get the tips of my feet down, so I don't feel comfortable. Otherwise, I would keep the bike, but I'm going to buy another BMW with the lower 31" seat height and suspension, so I can get both feet flat on the ground. The ride quality on the bike is amazing and with the shaft drive this bike is super smooth. If the winner of the auction would like I could meet them at my nearest BMW motorcycle dealer (Knoxville) and have the dealer look over the motorcycle if they would like at the buyers expense. I want the buyer to know they are getting a great motorcycle. I'll require a $50 deposit within 24 hours of the auction close via Paypal and the remainder within 7 days of the auction close. If for some reason you aren't happy with the bike you don't have to take the motorcycle and I'll even refund all your deposit except for $25 to cover my relisting time. The remainder will be due via cash or certified bank check upon pickup. I could also help assist in shipping the bike if the buyer isn't local by taking to my nearest airport (Louisville, Lexington or Knoxville). Buyer would be responsible for setting up with a shipping company. Bike would have to be paid in full before I could ship via certified bank funds. Bike has clear title!
