This car drives SO SOLID! I feel like I am driving an armoured vehicle whan I am in this car! Very cool... do they MAKE Volvos like this any more?
The car drives GREAT! The air conditioning and heater both work quickly, and well. Very strong air flow. The radio and all the power windos worked, as did the sunroof.
This car is sold as-is, and come with a basic Safety Inspection (see below.) While the car has some issues, it does and can be driven home safely!
CARFAX AND AUTOCHECK REPORTS
This one was a locally owned San Francisco Bay Area car, and would appear to have had ONE owner! No visual evidence of prior body repair is present.
For those looking from around the country, or even overseas, we are in Belmont California located very close to San Francisco. If you would like to fly in and drive home, we are close to Oakland, San Jose, and San Francisco International airports, so you should not have a difficult time finding a reasonable airfare.
Although the car is in excellent condition, it does show signs of use. Please take the time to look at all of the pictures and read the posting in its entirety. We perform a safety and condition inspection.
Within that inspection, we mention items that may need attention, or will need attention soon.

Lights and Horn, Brake Fluid,
Transmission Fluid, Coolant Reservoir Level, Power Steering Fluid, Transaxle-Transfer Case- Clutch Reservoir, suspension and Steering System, Tire Pressure, Inspect and Measure Tread Depth, Inspect front Brakes, an Inspect Rear Brakes.
SOME THINGS WE FOUND:
While looking over the car the technician found a certain amount of oil. Not TOO unusual for a car of it's age, but we though we would take a look. We cleaned the under-carraige and inspected further. It would appear to be seepage that had accumulated from the Rack and Pinion, and was near the underside of the engine.
The tires tread depth were 6/32nds (see pictures)
The Brake pads measured 7mm in the front, and 4mm in the rear.

Payments: A deposit of $1,000.00 by Personal check (once cleared), Cash (in person) (non-refundable) must be paid within 24 Hours of the close of the Auction. When the deposit has been submitted, "Buyer" MUST fax a copy of their valid, state-issued driver's license and proof of insurance. The remaining balance must be paid within 3 Days. If payment is made by cashier's or personal check, we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
Title Information: In genral, we have the title in our possesion. From time to time vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments of up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive.
