For those of you who do not understand the following information about the engine just know that it means this car is fast fast fast!! The LS3 engine block came out of a chevy truck. Its been bored .030 over and has 11.0 to 1 flat top pistons from Texas Speed. The Aluminum 823 heads have been ported and milled .030 to achieve the compresson. The cam is 225-230 duration and 629-615 lift with a lobe center of 112. The Rods are H beam and the Crank is good up to 1000 HP. The fuel is delivered by an in tank pump with half inch line running from tank to injectors. The computer is from PSI and it also has PSI wiring harness that controls everything. You can turn the key on this Nova and it will start in the cold high altitude in the mountains and idle just fineor if your on the beach in Florida it will do the same. Its all computer controlled and has 02 sensors that adjust the 42 lb injectors to whatever the density altitude is where you are. The Throttle is by wire so no cable to get stuck! Everything in this engine is new including the special LS swap oil pan so an LS motor would workin an early Nova without having to do major work. APS here in OKC did the tuning of the car. Bo Woody has gotten it down to an art and that is why it works at any altitude. The transmission is as 4L65 with vette servos all the good internal parts and a 3600 stall converter. The positrack rear has 410 gears and it will cruise at 70 mph at just over 2000 rpms. You truly have to drive or get a ride in the car to appreciate the AWESOME POWER. If your cruising at 45 to 50 and you want to get on the highway fast and you punch ityou might want to be careful because it will blow the tires away at 50 mph. This car was built for fun and pleasure. The owner has over 30,000 dollars in the car and has driven it less then 500 miles.
