This car was just purchased from Texas where it had been stored for a while. The car wears an older restoration but is quite usable with it's current cosmetics. The body on this car appears very straight with decent fitting panels that could use some minor gap adjustment. The car received a modest paintjob sometime in the past which is now showing the usual paint chips with use. The paint still shines nicely with good color. A few areas are showing some minor cracking. There are a few small bubbles mainly on the inside area of the LH taillight and a couple on the rear fender above the LH A-post. Overall, the paint is attractive and perfectly fine for a driver. The car's chromework is good to very good overall. The windshield glass is good with no cracks or major chips. The car's interior trim is comfortable in black vinyl with red piping, gray carpets. It's in very decent, usable condition with a fairly good black soft top fitted.The car's 1500cc engine starts easily on the key and warms up nicely. The choke cable is stuck. The car runs and drives OK with and is fine mechanically with a good gearbox and strong pulling, healthy engine. The brake pedal is on the hard side and could be improved a bit. The car appears to have been sitting and would benefit from a general service/ tune up/ looking over. The car is fitted with a decent set of 60-spoke chrome wire wheels and cross-ply tires.The car's underside looks very solid with a good frame, although covered in some red Texas road dirt. The dogleg areas could use some repair on the box ends near the rear wheels. The car has had some decent exterior body and some minor inner rocker repairs before it's last paint job. Overall, a fairly honest and attractive MGA driver that could be enjoyed as is, but would benefit from a general service and some future cosmetic improvements.
