This car was delivered new in paint code 117 Light Yellow and still retains it's original black interior. It was recently purchased from it's New York owner of the past 15 years who had plans to improve it, but never found the time. It was stored all of that time inside in his heated garage. The body on this car is fairly nice and solid. It appears the rear fenders were flared in the past to accommodate a larger rear wheel set, but were expertly done and look quite good. All of the body panels open and close very nicely, with great door fit, and gapping is near perfect. There is some slight bubbling along the lower driver's door, and a few other isolated spots on the body as seen in the pictures, but overall the body panels are very solid. Paintwork is older and has flaked in some areas, but it appears that this is the only repaint the car has ever had, feeling like a very honest and straight body. The car's interior trim is 100% original and is presently quite usable for the time being. The car starts on the key and currently runs/revs well with a nice idle. There is some gray exhaust smoke (possibly from sitting) which may clear itself up with use, but if not, a top end rebuild could be in order... Oil is clean and up to the mark. The car will yard drive with a good clutch, but we are presently servicing the brake system and will be uploading a video soon of the car running and driving along the road. The car's underside looks exceptionally solid and nearly rustfree with only a few isolated spots of rust-through at the driver's side floor and near the RH front torsion bar mounting area. It appears to still have it's original undercoating intact.The car includes the spare tire and rim, a pair of new front brake discs, owners manual/pouch, and rare tool kit.Overall, a super good well-preserved car for easy improvement. This attractive 911 S Coupe was delivered in a rare and sought-after period color scheme, with a 5-speed manual gearbox and air conditioning.
