Up for auction is this early production 1968 Porsche 912 coupe with original numbers matching drivetrain, prior owner started restoration in late 2008 and sadly had stop due to health reasons, currently car is in primer finish. this is a great starting point for restoration. Body is straight, all glass is in shape but the windshield and rear bumper is missing. I do have a ton of miscellaneous parts such as rubber trim, chrome trim, gaskets, carburetors, etc thats not pictured but will come with the car, under side of vehicle is in fair shape Will need a new floor pan could be patch but recommend just placing it connectors and sub frame are solid. Engine turns over and will start with external fuel source; won't take much to get it running. car rolls and steers easily and can be loaded for transportation without problem. As you can see that this car will need to be restored but again it is a great and easy starting point with tons of potential. Front boot is solid does have minor rust around battery tray that's viewable in pictures, all lip rails and seams are in good condition, this is the first time this vehicle is offered publicly for sale
