1981 Corvette No Reserve Auction!!!!!! 1981 Corvette For Sale on ebay - YouTube Video will open in a new window [isdntekvideo] You are bidding on a 1981 Corvette that was owned by an 80 year old gentleman who bought it in 1983 as a retirement gift to himself. He garaged it and rarely drove it until he passed in 2015 and it was inherited by a family member who did not love it as much as the original owner as it was stored outside partially covered with a tarp. It has a broken passenger side window. When we got it we put a battery and fresh gas and it had no problem starting right up but it the engine sounds like a knock but its not a Rod or valvetrain as it does not increase with rpms and it has good oil pressure. We drove it a bit and seems to drive good and shifts fine. The Vacuum headlights work great and so does the power windows. The Body is pretty straight but needs paint . The Interior has all factory options full power and leather seats . The Carpet and seats need to be redone. This Corvette is a good project it is very original and complete. It has a clean California Title with tags up too Feb 2018 when it was put on a Non-Op .We can arrange shipping all around the world and are availble to show the vehicle 6 days a week.
