Although there were 7,500 Anniversary cars build in 1979, this Trans AM is 1 of 1,817 with the Pontiac 400ci engine and 4 speed transmission. This is a rare find given: the mileage (37600), the fact that is all original with matching numbers, and only 2% were equipped with this engine and manual transmission. This Trans Am, in particular, was originally owned by the principle of a dealership in Cleveland who brought it to Nevada, and kept it at the Montreux Country Club for 20 years. 2 years ago it returned to Ohio with its second owner, from whom I purchased the car. It now resides in South Carolina, and has been a fun car to have, bringing back many memories.
