Vehicle Information VIN: CC66956L Stock: 0246 Mileage: 26,409 Color: Yellow Trans: Manual Engine: Inline 6 MPG: Drivetrain: RWD Description Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very straight and solid early TR-6 Convertible with the desirable high compression engine and rare 4-speed with overdrive gearbox. This car was recently purchased from it's seller in Northern California and is believed to have lived here all of it's life. It appears the car has been off the road for the last 18 years. The body on this car is completely solid and rot-free. There is a small dent in the RH front fender, but the rest of the car appears very straight and damage free. The original color scheme looks to be primrose yellow with black trim, a lighter shade of it's current repaint. Panel fit is very good with nice closing hood, trunk, and doors. The car could use some interior cosmetic work/improvements as it has been sitting for quite some time. The soft top appears to be in newer condition which is a big plus. There are some typical soft trim items that could use replacement along with a passenger seat repair. There is a windshield crack.The car starts on the key and runs on choke with some smoke, possibly as a result of sitting all of these years... The engine revs well with no engine noises and very good oil pressure. The clutch works, the brakes are poor. The car yard drives and shifts fine through the gears. We didn't get the car up to speed to check the OD unit. The tires look nice. The cars underside looks super good: very nice, straight, and solid. Overall, a desirable early TR-6 with overdrive that has lived here in California for all of it's life.
