1974 Porsche 914 LE Creamsicle, non-driving restoration project, one of only 264 LEs left in the World. Great investment and great foundation for a restoration project!Exterior: Overall a very straight car with a few minor dings, great start for an investment restoration, no apparent signs of prior damage or panel replacement, paint quality is in poor condition. Door handles do not function from the outside, all lenses and rubber seals are weathered. Rocker panels show original orange LE paint under the black (see pics). Interior: Mostly complete but in rough condition, all panels will require recovering, missing sun visors.Mechanical: Steers but does not drive or stop. Engine is a 2.0L with EFI and runs on carb cleaner with no abnormal noises or smoke, rear calipers and sway bars missing, front trunk has A/C condenser. Rust: Appears to be limited, I have not pulled all the panels or carpet to inspect but overall the rust appears to be very minimal, battery tray area (hellhole) does have a few holes and some rust was found in the floor pan under the driver side seat, trunks appear solid.History: Unknown, car was purchased from the owner about 10 years ago, was likely last registered about 20 years ago, true mileage unknown. I was told the car has a clear title but the DMV and registration history are unknown. Online title search shows no history of total loss or theft. Comes with a CA Bill of Sale and Title application paperwork. Shipping: Shipping will be at the buyer's expense, I have a forklift here and can assist in loading on most weekends.
