This car was just purchased from it's long term owner in the state of Nevada where it has been stored for about the past 15 years. There's some evidence that it lived here in California before then. It appears to have left the factory originally in the desirable Healey Blue with navy blue trim and top. It's a fairly well-preserved and original car that's been repainted some time ago.The body on this car is pretty decent all the way around. The body could use a few small repairs low down. Door fit is typically a little tight at the rear edge. Hood and trunk fit is good. There's some normal dings along the front shroud from work being carried out in the engine bay. Grille fit is excellent with nice headlamp areas. Underneath looks very good with excellent floors and mainrails. The front right outrigger was patched at one point and could use a proper repair, but the other 3 are dry and excellent. The shroud needs a small patch repair where it attaches to the mainrail, typical. The main floors, toe boards, trunk floor, cross-X all look solid and rustfree. The car's interior trim is pretty original and tired. The seats were upholstered in vinyl at one point, and they're still in pretty nice condition. The car would need carpets, but the original floors look great! The car comes with it's original 2-seater softtop and frame assembly, and a sidecurtain set.The correct 100-6 engine turns over smoothly with good compression, and almost starts. We're working on getting this car to run and drive, to assess it's overall mechanical health on the road, and the car's price could then change accordingly. The brake pedal currently pumps up to a decent pedal. Clutch pedal is down, as we're working on that too, along with fuel and ignition. The previous owner said it ran and drove fine when parked. Overall, an achingly pretty and desirable 2-seater roadster. Black paintwork is absolute magic on these cars. This body style is arguably the prettiest of all six-cylinder Healeys. This Western states car is a well-preserved example that left the factory in desirable Healey Blue, and would make a lovely car with a simple, straightforward, cosmetic restoration.
