Up for bid is a very clean and solid old 46 Chevy Pick Up. The body and fenders are straight and solid, as well as the doors, hood, roof and box sides. The motor is a later model 235 6 cylinder with an open drive shaft. The rear end is a later model, the transmission is a 4 speed from a GM 1970's model car with a Hurst shifter that shifts correct. The motor starts on the first turn and runs and idles smooth with no smoke. The truck has dual exhaust. The brakes were redone a couple of years ago and stop good. The gauge panel has been upgraded with Dolphin gauges. All lights work, including. dash, turn signals, headlights , brake and tail lights. The motor runs cool, no overheating issues. The oil pressure is at 60 pounds. The fuel tank has been moved to the rear of the truck. The doors open and close tight, the glass is clear with no chipped, or cracked areas. The old girl is far from being anything but a cool old truck to go crusin' in, far from being a show truck. The old girl is dependable, as could be expected from a GM product made here in the USA.
