1962 Ford F100 292 Y-Block Manual Transmission – 3-speed Clean title Perfect little work truck. This truck was set up as a daily driver for the previous owner. Pump the gas one time, turn the key and it starts every time. Has 4-wheel drum brakes, 3-speed column shift. V-8 292 block. All lights work, headlights, brake lights, blinkers, dash lights…Working fuel gauge, speedometer, oil temp, heater, radio with working speakers. Also has a car alarm, horn will not sound when the alarm is tripped but will kill the ability to start, has a remote clicker. Bench seat is in great shape, no rips or tears, carpet is a little faded but intact with a rubber floor mat. Has a removable tonneau cover, which is not secured at the moment, but is kept on to keep rain and moisture out of the bed. Bed cover will need replacement lock cylinders to function correctly. I couldn’t find any rust in the bed, just some surface rust. Windows roll up and down smooth Somewhere down the road someone added touch-up paint in a few areas which are evident in the pictures. There are some rust bubbles (see pics), none of the areas are spongy. Floor pans are solid, under carriage is solid. Overall a great truck, could keep it as is, or give it a little make-over with some fresh paint, no major dents to worry about. Has a slight ticking, which appears to be an exhaust leak or coming from a relief valve on the exhaust manifold.
